博士，北京工商大学商学院教授，博士生导师，享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家，北京市教学名师。兼任教育部普通高校物流教指委副主任、国际标准化组织创新物流技术委员会（ISO/TC 344）主席。曾任北京物资学院副校长，曾长期兼任中国物流与采购联合会副会长、中国物流学会副会长。1997年被邀请到中南海为国务院领导讲课，2002-2006年曾担任瑞典哥德堡大学访问教授。

曾为国家级特色专业、国家级教学团队、国家级精品课程、国家精品资源共享课程负责人。代表作《物流系统论》（专著）获北京市哲学社会科学优秀成果二等奖。

主要研究方向：物流系统论、供应链管理、电子商务、现代流通技术等。主持国家社科基金重点项目等国家级项目多项，主持完成国家发改委 “揭榜挂帅”项目《国家“十四五”冷链物流发展规划》及国家标准《物流术语》制定（GB/T18354—2001）及修订（GB/T18354—2021）。发表学术论文100多篇，其中在《管理世界》及POM、IJPDLM、PTS等发表论文30多篇。

Ph.D., doctoral supervisor, professor of School of Business, Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU), recipient of Special Government Allowance granted by the State Council of China and Outstanding Teacher of Beijing awarded by Beijing Municipality Government. He is also the Deputy Director of the Teaching Steering Committee in Logistics Management and Engineering of the Ministry of Education of China and Chair of the ISO Technical Committee on Innovative Logistics (ISO/TC 344). He used to be Vice President of Beijing Wuzi University (BWU) from 2016 to 2022. He is the founding Vice President of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP), China Society of Logistics (CSL), and China Warehousing Association. In 1997, he was invited to give lecture to the leaders of the State Council in Zhongnanhai. From 2002 to 2006, he was a Visiting Professor at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. 

He has been the leader of National Teaching Program with Specialty, National Teaching Team, National Superior Course and National Superior Resource-sharing Course. His representative work, "Theory of Logistics Systems" (a monograph), won the Second Prize for Excellent Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences in Beijing.

His main research areas include logistics system study, supply chain management, e-commerce, and modern distribution technology. He has led several national projects, including key projects funded by the National Social Science Fund, and successfully completed the National Development and Reform Commission's project "National '14th Five-Year' Cold Chain Logistics Development Plan" and the formulation (GB/T18354—2001) and revision (GB/T18354—2021) of the national standard "Terminology of Logistics". He has published over 100 academic papers, with more than 30 papers appearing in prestigious journals such as "Management World", POM, IJPDLM, and PTS.
