With the increasing maturity of big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, model simulation and other related technologies, as well as the enhancement and sharing of data value, operations research and related industrial applications have a greater imagination. As the theoretical foundation and key lever of data-based intelligent decision-making, the application of operations research covers many scenarios of digital and intellectual transformation in manufacturing and logistics supply chain industries, such as logistics network planning, vehicle path planning, crating problem, drone scheduling, digital engineering and Internet of Things. Operations Research Logistics Application Forum joins hands with industry experts and universities to discuss the vision and value of the logistics and supply chain industry for intelligent decision-making under the synergistic innovation of industry, academia, research and its utilization.

清华大学工业工程系长聘教授,运筹学与服务科学研究室(TOpS Lab)主任,交通科学与物流研究中心主任。

近年来主要从事随机优化方法及其在供应链风险管理、物流管理(特别是超大型城市中物流配送管理)以及全渠道零售和物流中的应用。其研究获得国家自然科学基金、科技部等的资助,并且同中外运、中石化、中远海运科技、阿里、华为、美团、京东物流、IBM中国研究院、日本三菱重工、美国通用磨坊等企业合作。

研究成果发表于ANOR、COR、EJOR、MSOM、OR Spectrum、TRB、TRC、TRE、TS等运筹学和交通科学领域学术期刊。曾任美国运筹学与管理学研究协会(INFORMS)交通科学与物流分会(TSL)秘书长和INFORMS Journal on Computing(IJOC)期刊副编(AE)。现任Transportation Science(TS)期刊副编和Transportation Research Part E(TRE)期刊编委。

As a tenured professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University, he also serves as the director of the Operations & Services Research (TOpS) Laboratory and the director of the Research Center for Transportation Science and Logistics. 

His research focuses on stochastic optimization methodologies and their applications in supply chain risk management, logistics and transportation management (esp. urban delivery in megacities), and omni-channel retailing & logistics. His research has been funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MoST) and he has collaborated with industry partners such as Sinoair, Sinopec, COSCO Shipping Technology, Alibaba, Huawei, Meituan, JD Logistics, IBM China Research Lab, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, General Mills, etc. 

He has long-term research collaborations with world-class researchers and has publications in ANOR, COR, EJOR, MSOM, OR Spectrum, TRB, TRC, TRE, and TS, etc. He has served as the Secretary of INFORMS Transportation Science and Logistics (TSL) Society and an Associate Editor (AE) of INFORMS Journal on Computing (IJOC). He currently serves as an AE of Transportation Science (TS) and an Editorial Advisory Board (EAB) member of Transportation Research Part E (TRE).

Jan C. Fransoo

Jan Fransoo现任荷兰蒂尔堡大学信息系统与运营管理系运营与物流管理教授,兼任埃因霍温理工大学和麻省理工学院客座教授。此前,Fransoo 教授曾在德国汉堡物流与企业管理技术大学和埃因霍温理工大学任教。Fransoo 教授拥有 30 多年将多种分析(analytical)、定量和定性方法应用于运营管理和供应链管理的研究经验。他的研究成果发表于高影响力的学术期刊并被广泛引用,出版了《可持续供应链管理》、《5000 万家小零售商户的零售配送》和《计划与调度中的行为研究》等多本著作。他目前的研究聚焦于发展中市场的零售和药品分销以及人在人工智能增强型决策中的作用。此外,Fransoo 教授还拥有丰富的大学领导经验,领导过多个大型研究项目和研究机构,并与多个公司、政府部门和政府间组织建立了咨询和合作关系。在中国,Fransoo 教授与清华大学工业工程系保持着长期的研究合作。

Jan Fransoo is Professor of Operations and Logistics Management in de Department of Information Systems & Operations Management at Tilburg University, and holds courtesy affiliations at Eindhoven University of Technology and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Tilburg, Fransoo was on the faculty at Kuehne Logistics University and Eindhoven University of Technology. Fransoo has over 30 years of experience in conducting research in operations and supply chain management, making use of a wide variety of analytical, quantitative, and qualitative methods. His research is widely published in and cited by high-impact academic journals, and in several of his (edited) books, notably “Sustainable Supply Chain Management”, “Reaching 50 Million Nanostores”, and “Behavioral Operations in Planning and Scheduling”. His current research interests focus on retail and pharmaceutical distribution in developing markets, and on the role of humans in AI-enhanced decision making. Apart from his academic research, Fransoo has extensive university leadership experience, has lead large scale research projects, programs, and institutes, and consulted and partnered with many companies, national governments, and intergovernmental organizations. In China, Fransoo has held a longstanding research collaboration with the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University.

清华大学工业工程系副系主任、党委副书记、博士生导师、长聘副教授。长期从事智慧运输服务系统优化理论与方法的研究,入选2020年中组部国家“万人计划”青年拔尖人才项目。

何方在交通运输资源供需最优动态匹配与调度、交通运输设施规划、交通需求管理等方面取得了一系列理论成果,在国际交通运输领域旗舰学术期刊发表SCI论文50余篇,ESI高被引论文3篇,谷歌学术引用4100余次,入选2019-2023 年Elsevier 中国高被引学者。研究成果在北京冬奥会、高德地图、北京交委、武汉供电公司等多个场景落地应用。担任交通领域国际顶级学术期刊Transportation Research Part B编辑、Transportation Research Part C编委。现任中国管理科学与工程学会交通运输管理分会委员、中国“双法”研究会高等教育管理分会常务理事等职务。何方培养的多名博士生在同济大学、中央财经大学等重点高校担任教职。

Vice Department Head and tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University. He specializes in the research of transportation and logistics system optimization theories and methods and was selected for the National "Ten Thousand Talents Program" for Young Top-Notch Talents in 2020.

His research achievements include a series of theoretical advancements in optimal dynamic matching and scheduling of transportation resources, transportation facility planning, and transportation demand management. He has published over 50 papers in flagship journals in the field of transportation, with 3 papers being highly cited according to ESI, and has over 4,100 citations on Google Scholar. He was recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher in China by Elsevier from 2019 to 2023. His research has been applied in various scenarios, including the Beijing Winter Olympics, AutoNavi Maps, the Beijing Transportation Commission, and the State Grid in Wuhan. He serves as an editor for the top international academic journal in transportation, Transportation Research Part B, and as an editorial board member for Transportation Research Part C. He currently holds positions such as a committee member of the Transportation Management Branch of the Chinese Society for Management Science and Engineering and a standing director of the Higher Education Management Branch of the China "Double Law" Society.

美国弗吉尼亚大学电子工程系博士,资深数据专家,拥有十五年以上机器学习、数据挖掘、分布式经验。曾在美国Uber大数据部、LinkedIn搜索与分析部、MicrosoftBing语音组等从事机器学习与大数据工作。回国后历任滴滴研究院高级总监、饿了么技术副总裁。在产品和研发能力建设上,张浩带领货拉拉技术团队,经过四年拓荒式的建设,在基础设施、中台、移动端、大数据、信息安全和风控等方面均达到业界领先水平。与此同时,稳定性、研发人效持续提升,单均 IT 成本大幅下降。

Ph.D. graduate from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Virginia in the United States, is a seasoned industrial technology leader. He has more than 15 years of experience in machine learning, data mining and distributed computing. Before joining Huolala, he was Vice President of Eleme, Senior Director of Didi Research Institute, and also served at Uber Big Data Department, LinkedIn Search and Analysis Department, Microsoft Bing Speech Group.After returning to China, Dr. Zhang has held positions as Senior Director at Didi Research Institute and Vice President of Technology at Ele.me. In terms of product and R&D capability building, Dr. Zhang has led the technical team at Huolala in pioneering development over four years, achieving industry-leading levels in areas such as infrastructure, middleware, mobile terminals, big data, information security, and risk control. Simultaneously, he has continuously improved stability and R&D efficiency while significantly reducing average IT costs.

华为公司中央研究院资深专家,负责供应链架构及算法工作。清华大学博士毕业后长期从事供应链优化工作,曾任职于多家知名电商公司。

Senior Executive at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd, responsible for supply chain architecture and algorithms. After graduating with a doctorate from Tsinghua University, he has been engaged in supply chain optimization for a long time and has worked in some well-known e-commerce companies.

在清华大学获得本科及硕士学位,美国加州大学欧文分校获得博士学位。博士毕业后在清华大学工业工程系及悉尼科技大学商学院任教并获终身教职。他于2019年加入阿里巴巴集团,现任淘天集团客户运营部及淘宝事业部资深机制设计专家。负责淘宝天猫等阿里平台中的服务运营管理及淘宝平台的商家机制设计。他曾在多个顶级期刊发表论文,同时担任INFORMS期刊Decision Analysis副主编。

Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Tsinghua University, and doctoral degree from the University of California, Irvine. After completing his PhD, he taught at the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University and University of Technology Sydney Business School. In 2019, he joined Alibaba Group and currently holds positions as Staff Expert of Mechanism Design in Taotian Group’s Customer Operations Department and Taobao Business Division. He is responsible for service operations on platforms such as Taobao and Tmall within Alibaba, as well as designing mechanisms for merchants on the Taobao platform. He has published papers in various top journals and serves as an associate editor for INFORMS journal Decision Analysis.

顺丰速运集团营运模式算法总监 

Yixiao Huang, Director of Operation Modes & Algorithms, SF Express

顺丰速运集团营运模式算法总监,参与同城网络规划,市内路径规划,干线网络规划等项目的算法开发和应用落地。于2018年获清华大学工业工程系管理科学与工程博士学位。在期刊Transportation Science、Transportation Research Part B、Omega等发表多篇论文,为期刊Transportation Science、INFORMS Journal of Computing、Transportation Research Part B的审稿人。

Director of Operations Modes & Algorithms at SF Express. He has participated in several projects that apply operations research to enhance SF’s networks, including intra-city same-day delivery network design, vehicle routing of city operations, and inter-city air and ground network design. Dr. Huang obtained his Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University in 2018. He has authored several papers on Transportation Science, Transportation Research Part B, and Omega, and also serves as a reviewer for Transportation Science, INFORMS Journal of Computing, and Transportation Research Part B.
